स्वतंत्रता India's Independence Day 15 August 🇮🇳

India's Independence Day is celebrated year on 15 August. India got independence from British rule on August 15, 1947 and that is why the day of August 15 is very special for everyone. Jawaharlal Nehru gave a historic speech on the Independence Day of India's independence. Which we know from 'Trist with Destiny'. This is the first speech given in Parliament by India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. On every Independence Day, the Indian Prime Minister hoists the flag from the Red Fort. 4

🇮🇳 Mahatma Gandhi was in Noakhali, Bengal, thousands of kilometers away from Delhi on the day of independence, where he was on hunger strike to prevent communal violence between Hindus and Muslims

But have you wondered why the date of August 15 was chosen for the independence of the country? Different historians have different beliefs about this. Some historians believe that on the suggestion of C. Rajagopalachari, Mountbatten chose the date of August 15 for India's independence. C. Rajagopalachari had told Lord Mountbatten that if he waited till June 30, 1948, there would be no power left to transfer. In such a situation, Mountbatten opted for India's independence on 15 August. On August 15, 1947, Lord Mountbatten worked in his office. In the afternoon, Nehru handed him the list of his cabinet and later addressed a gathering at the Precision Garden near India Gate.

At the same time, some historians believe that Mountbatten considered the date of August 15 to be auspicious, that is why he had chosen this date for India's independence. Mountbatten's day was auspicious for August 15 as the Japanese Army surrendered on August 15, 1945 at the time of World War II, and Mountbatten was commander of the Allied Forces at that time.
